how we work remotely

The PDG+creative team uses several communication technologies that allow us to become a virtual extension of your staff. By embracing these tools, you'll feel as though we are working with you in your own office. Because, while technology is an irreplacable tool in our day-to-day, we believe it is of greater importance for you to feel that you have access to our team members when and where you need them. A few of the communication tools we may use when working on your project remotely include:

Basecamp

This online communications board lets users exchange notes, upload files and documents and comment on one another's uploads. Users are given a unique, password-protected login and receive email notifications when new messages are posted or new files uploaded. This program is particularly useful with design projects as it lets PDG+creative upload PDF project proofs, which can then be downloaded, viewed and commented on by our client. Additionally, Basecamp allows us to create project calendars and milestones, which alert all users to upcoming deadlines.

Adobe Acrobat® Connect

This is a real-time communication and training program that utilizes web cams and Adobe Flash Player (which is pre-installed on approximately 97% of all browsers). This program allows us to make online presentations, offer online training and conduct client meetings, all in real time.

Skype

This tool allows us to quickly communicate with clients via text messaging or voice-over IP. The program is completely computer-based but can also be used with land-line phones.

These tools combined guarantee that our team, and yours, stays informed of all project deadlines, expectations, budgets and updates. At the same time, our clients stay up-to-date on their project's status and receive the one-on-one attention they both need and deserve.
