PDG+creative Earns Gold Communicator Award
In April of this year, the International Academy of the Visual Arts announced the winners for the 2008 Communicator Awards. PDG+creative was honored with a Gold award for their work in interactive web site development.
The Communicator Awards is an international award program that honors the creative work of communication firms and professionals worldwide. The Awards, which are judged by leaders of the International Academy of the Visual Arts, focus on creative distinction within advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work. After being initiated almost ten years ago, The Communicator Awards have grown to become one of the largest award programs of its kind.
PDG+creative was honored for their creation of the Green Country Marketing web site. This site employed a number of new technologies and featured innovative functionalities that would allow users to compile vacation itineraries, search area events, “flip through” digital publications and browse coupons, among other features. The site was created in four months and went live in February of last year.
The interactive team at PDG+creative continues to pride itself on the ability to stay on-track with current web trends and development standards, providing clients with effective, interactive web sites. They are continuously shaping themselves to be a team that combines interactive skill with an eye for design and unique understanding of functionality.
