PDG+creative Earns Interactive Award
PDG+creative was recently awarded a silver W3 Award by the International Academy of the Visual Arts for their new website.
The new PDG+creative website launched late this summer and showcases a wide variety of popular and leading technologies. The homepage displays a Flash movie incorporating elements from PDG+creative’s recent image makeover and elsewhere provides links to PDG+creative’s social network, which extends to Facebook, Twitter and Pownce. The site utilizes clean design and CSS, as well as a custom Content Management System, developed by the PDG team, to deliver a user-friendly front end interface.
“We wanted to keep everything simple, clean and direct with the new site” said Matt Pendergraff, PDG Principal and Executive Creative Director. “We wanted everything, including technology, to disappear before the user, who could then easily navigate and interpret every part of the site.”
The W3 Awards honor excellence in website development, online marketing and online video production. They are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and sponsored by AdvertisingAge, a print and digital publication offering news on advertising, marketing and media. The awards, which receive more than 3,000 entries annually, are one of the only major web competitions open to both large corporations and small, independent agencies.
