PDG+creative Receives National Award for Advertising Campaign

The Communicator Award recognized PDG+creative’s development of a new advertising campaign for Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve. The campaign, which incorporated Woolaroc’s new “Welcome Home” theme and focused on the attraction’s history and natural beauty, was launched in 2007 with Oklahoma Today magazine. It has received overwhelming positive feedback from both audience members and Woolaroc patrons.

“I’m honored for our work to be recognized at this level,” says Matt Pendergraff, Executive Creative Director and Principal of PDG+creative. “It’s nice to have our creative and marketing philosophies validated in such a way. More importantly though, we’ve received great feedback from Woolaroc on the ad series’ effectiveness and, in the end, our client’s success is our number one objective.”

The print and marketing team at PDG+creative continuously works to develop meaningful, innovative advertising campaigns that empower clients with audience recognition and response. A solid understanding of image brand and how to effectively integrate it with the right marketing message means PDG+creative delivers strong, targeted advertising.

The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) represents a group of professionals from the industries of advertising, print, film, television and interactive, and offers educational and networking opportunities for those in similar fields. They also oversee the Communicator Awards, which focus specifically on creative distinction within advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work. Now in their 14th season, the Communicator Awards are one of the largest award programs of their kind.
